Get In To Win!

2010-03-26

“You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.” ~ Mahatma Gandhi

Have you ever wanted to take some type of action but did not? How did your lack of action make you feel? For me, if I have a situation in which I think, ‘I should have done something’, I tend to feel bad about my inaction. Now, there are times when it is best to do nothing in a situation, but for myself, I have found them to be rare.

There Is Hope: Depression/Anxiety In The GLBTQ Community

2010-03-19

Depression and Anxiety run rampant in the GLBTQ community. Factors contributing to this include feeling invisible, feeling/being unsupported, and being isolated from family, friendships, and society in general. Quest of Life Co-Parenting Interview

2010-02-19

Recently I had the pleasure of being a guest on The Quest of Life radio program with Harry Faddis and Steve Simms. The topic was something that is near and dear to my heart as I live it everyday: “being a co-parent of two children. GLBT people and Family Values.”

The Quest of Life is a radio program focusing on people who are leading lives of inspiration, with a special emphasis on spirituality. They are especially interested in exploring the lives and stories of gay men and lesbians who are involved in the world and human struggles. The program features music by OUT musicians as well.

Take a listen to the interview at this link.

It is also available on the Quest of Life Podcast in iTunes.
